Originally from Nigeria, Phebian Adekunle-Ajayi moved to the United States in 2014, bringing a valuable international perspective to her legal career. She obtained her B.A. in Philosophy, graduating cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, the African Student Organization, and was recognized as a Stryker Scholar.
Attorney
Phebian continued her legal education at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, earning her J.D. in May 2022. Her time in law school was marked by practical experiences; she participated in the pro se clinic under the guidance of a licensed attorney, interned at a boutique family law firm acquiring skills in client representation and case preparation, and gained valuable in-house experience focusing on compliance and regulatory issues at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Currently, Phebian’s practice at JCJ law group focuses on healthcare law and civil litigation. Her healthcare law practice addresses regulatory, billing, and compliance issues, while her civil litigation work aims to secure fair outcomes for her clients.
Outside of the office, Phebian enjoys exploring Houston’s scenic trails, experiencing new culinary delights, and spending quality time with her family over home-cooked Nigerian meals.
