Rachel Holland-Hadjis is a Senior Associate Attorney and Managing Partner at JCJ Law Group. She handles a wide variety of cases, including healthcare law and general civil and commercial litigation. Rachel’s strong legal research and writing skills, combined with her attention to detail, empower her to effectively champion her clients’ interests. Presently, she works closely with Jared helping him supervise the firm’s hospital lien programs for several large hospitals
Attorney and Managing Partner
Prior to joining the firm, Rachel served as an assistant attorney general in the Civil Medicaid Fraud Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office. In that role, she was responsible for investigating Medicaid providers suspected of defrauding the Medicaid program, prosecuting meritorious claims through civil suits, and recovering taxpayer dollars in addition to monetary statutory remedies.
Before the AG’s Office, Rachel served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Phil Johnson of the Supreme Court of Texas. Upon his retirement from the bench, she completed her clerkship term serving as the judicial clerk for the Honorable Brett Busby. In this role, Rachel assisted in the drafting of judicial opinions on complex issues important to Texas’ civil jurisprudence.
Rachel graduated first in her class from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2018. During law school, she served as an editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and was active in the school’s moot court advocacy program.
Rachel received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and met her future husband, Jacob, while participating in the school’s undergraduate moot court program.
Outside the office, Ms. Holland-Hadjis lives in central Houston with her husband and their two sons, Arthur and Harlan. They spend their weekends enjoying Houston’s parks, museums, and libraries.
